Great new changes coming

In the next few weeks all game servers will be migrating over to my own hardware which will be colocated in Chicago, Illinois. The hardware will be better and additional bandwidth will be allocated to me allowing for expansion of the servers. Chicago is also a much more centralized location, allowing more residents of the US to connect with lower pings as opposed to Dallas. Connections to Europe will also be marginally better. Recently, due to the summer months, high usage has been causing some bandwidth problems and preventing expansion of the servers in their current location. Posted on by PersonalJ(admin)

Relaunch of Serious Roleplay Server

Changes to Main Zombie Mod Server

Due to a number of serious bugs and exploits with mani, I have replaced it with sourcemod. Unfortunately this will require a new ranking system, I have opted for psychostats, you will now be able to view your stats in game and through a webinterface at http://www.hl2land.com. The good news is that because psychostats parses the server log files I will be able to restore your ranks. psychostats allows for some pretty cool stuff, for instance, you can see where the players are from as it integrates player ip addresses with google maps. http://www.hl2land.com/overview.php. New TF2 Server Coming!
Another TF2 server will be provisioned this week, it will be an instant respawn Dustbowl/Gravelpit rotation server. Since the recent reorganization of game servers the Hl2land.net servers have been immensely popular, right now there are 109 users connected.

Due to the popularity of the first insta-spawn TF2 Server, an additional one has been setup. This server will run 2Fort 24/7.

New Roleplay Script Nears Completion!
The new roleplay script is finally nearing completion and is ready to be rolled out on to the main roleplay server! Buddhaferret has been hard at work on this for a few weeks now.

GTA SA-MP Server!
Well, GTA SA has been getting quite popular again, so I thought I'd set up a server for it. Get SA-MP and let's play, you'll need a copy of GTA:SA, cracked copies work fine. The server IP is 69.162.127.130:7777, it has a mysql based gamemode, hope to see you there.

I've added four new maps to the Zombie Master server, the map rotation is now as follows:

Garrysmod Update 44 Released
The latest update should have fixed the chat problems, the chat system utilizes findinsphere.

Hl2land.net roleplay server changes to city 45

It seems garry broke the roleplay naming system, we've recently fixed this problem and you should now be able to switch characters using the menu like always.

Hl2land.net Roleplay Updates
Well we haven't posted an announcement in a while so here is a big one.
As most already know our hl2 storyline roleplay server is back up and running smoothly. Code changes will be made on that server for the following features: * Multiple licenses * Radio changes * Hunger and intelligence * misc On another large Note Hl2land will have a new roleplay server up called "Equilibrium" storyline is inspired by the 2002 film "Equilibrium" and is a very interesting story. Roleplay = Fixed + DarkRP Moderator Elections
As of Yesterday, Roleplay has been working as it was prior to the garrysmod update. We have begun adding new content to the server again. There was one minor exploit with the inventory system, I went ahead and reset characters who exploited this and patched it myself today.

Character Creation/Selection Fixed + Pay Days
Character Selection/Creation will now function normally like it used to. You no longer need to change your steam friends name for your character(s) to load. Also, Pay Days have been put back in.

Stranded replaced with Modified DarkRP + C18
The stranded server has been replaced by a modified DarkRP server due to a numerous amount of requests. Have fun. Greyfox and I will also be fixing the supply license buy interface, door ownership, and zip ties shortly. Once this has been accomplished, we're moving to C18.
